It all started with a dream.

I came from a big family and we love to eat. Food was our passion and my grandmother was the best Thai cook/baker I've ever known. I remember helping her bake Thai desserts and deliver them to nearby stores in Thailand. I think that was when my love for baking began.

I graduated with a Business Degree from California State University, San Bernardino. After graduation, I started working as a Web Coordinator for a local software company, where I met my husband, Tim. I soon started baking again and used my co-workers as test subjects when trying out an endless stream of new recipes.

After Tim and I married and moved to Austin, I decided to pursue my dream and in 2007 we opened Lux Bakery and Cafe in Southwest Austin. It was an investment of more money, time, energy, tears, and love than we could ever have imagined!

After 5 wonderful years of baking memories for our wonderful customers and their growing families, we closed the storefront on William Cannon Dr and temporarily hung up my apron to pursue a new dream ... growing our family! Now that the adoption process is in the works, I am back to baking our popular cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other sweet treats.
